Cleveland celebrated its superhero legacy with the unveiling of the Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster Tribute Plaza downtown. The new installation features an 18-foot stainless steel Superman statue rising above bronze figures of creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, along with Joanne Siegel, the inspiration for Lois Lane. The plaza honors Superman’s Cleveland origins and the lasting impact of two local teenagers who created an iconic hero.
